There are many advantages of having wet/dry vacuums in the home. Not only are they powerful heavy duty vacuums, but they can be used for other household maintenances as well. For one, they have such a high sucking power; they can be used to get lost items out of a sink drain. All of the contents that the vacuum sucks up are help in a compartment, so it can be easy to retrieve the lost item from the vacuum.
Wet/dry vacuums can also be used to unclog drains. In the same manner as getting a lost item from a sink, these vacuums also have enough power to get hair and other materials out from a drain. Many times, drains get clogged with hair and other dirt, so it should not be hard for wet/dry vacuums to get rid of all the clogging material.
Many people use their wet/dry vacuums to blow up toys. Instead of spending hours trying to blow up plastic toys, wet/dry vacuum can get the job done in a matter of minutes. These vacuums have a porthole that blows air out, so it makes it easy to get toys blown up. Finally, wet/dry vacuums can be used to clean up liquid spills which come in handy in a house full of kids. Many times a towel will leave sticky residue on the ground. Wet/dry vacuums can eliminate that problem.
