Most vacuum cleaners lose some of their efficiency after a few years because the vacuum head is clogged with debris or the motor and fan belt has worn out. The individual also needs to examine if the vacuum bag needs to be replaced. A clogged filter will shorten the life span of your vacuum. Make sure your filter is back in place or replaced, and reinstall the vacuum bag or dirt cup.
