Machine shop vacuums are built to last; more so than a regular commercial vacuum. These industrial vacuums can be found throughout the machine shops of New Jersey, where people know their industrial machines. Machine shop vacuums are able to pick up a large quantity of dirt and grime in their powerful vacuum heads, and are specifically meant for the type of work done in these shops.

The power and productivity of industrial vacuum heads have to match the tough work being done in New Jersey machine shops, which is a tougher job than your average vacuum can deal with. Machine shop vacuums also have to take in and store a lot more debris, including the abrasive materials and fine powders that are commonly found in manufacturing areas. Industrial vacuums in New Jersey machine shops must also be able to pick up metal chips or wood chips depending on the type of facility they are found in. At the same time, they must also be able to pick up liquids. Machine shop vacuums can even be used to suck up oil spills.

The machine shop vacuums on the market come in several different varieties, including central units. The central units have large power units and recovery tanks with attached vacuum heads, but several outlets located at various locations around the facility. The most common industrial vacuums, however, are portable units with wheels that can be moved to the needed areas with relative ease. This style is often known as the wet/ dry vac.

These pieces of equipment are designed more for function than style, and usually consist of nothing more than a large metal barrel with a motor, attached hoses and large wheels on the bottom. This is exactly what machine shops need in New Jersey - a functional vacuum that does what it needs to do, and does it well.
