HafcoVac units, when properly equipped with static conductive hoses and grounding kits, are safe for use with flammable and explosive materials. With no motors to arc and no moving parts to create friction or spark, the largest remaining ignition source comes from static electricity.

HafcoVac Static Dissipation Kits serve to bond all components of the vacuum together, ensuring no part is left isolated from its path to ground. When used in conjunction with a static conductive hose, a HafcoVac provides an economical alternative to many other products which often sell for upwards of 4x the cost.
