This HafcoVac drum is 18 gauge (1.1 mm nominal thickness) heavy-duty steel. Drums for use with HafcoVac heads must be no thinner than 18 gauge, or risk drum implosion. The drum has a removable plug (bunghole) at the bottom, to facilitate easy drainage once filled. The bunghole is 2" NPT and can accept a variety of fittings to suit your application.
