Midland Park, NJ- Hafco, a third-generation family owned supplier of transit products and industrial vacuum cleaners, will be honored at the NJSBDC’s 15th Annual Awards Ceremony in Monroe Township, NJ on Friday, December 15th. The owners of Hafco were awarded the Success Award for Bergen County for showing exemplary leadership and dedication to employees during a complex transition in ownership.
At the event, business owners and leaders in higher education and economic development will recognize successful NJSBDC business clients from around the State. The night is meant to inspire and celebrate business development and growth.
“We originally reached out to the New Jersey SBDC to assist Hafco as a 3rd party during a change-over in ownership. Their guidance helped us to keep Hafco as a family business, and set us on a path of continued growth. We’ve already increased our workforce by 20% and continue to push our sales each quarter” said Billy Fornaci, Co-President and Chief Engineer at Hafco.
